A widowed mother finds solace in smoking marijuana and listening to the radio. When her son drowns and her dog dies, she spirals into alcoholism and is forced into a marriage she doesn't want. However, she discovers a tattoo that leads her to a library where she learns about interdimensional travel and time travel. She travels to Greece and experiences religious processions and mythology. Through her journey, she finds love again and escapes from jail. She also encounters sabotage and an underwater explosion. In the end, she realizes the importance of self-destruction and departure.

Thanasis works in the café he inherited from his father and hopes that his children will manage to complete their studies. This desire is based on his own dream of becoming a judge, which never happened due to his father's objections.
At the Presidential Mansion news arrives every day indicating that things in the country are going from bad to worse. The President summons all the political leaders in order to understand exactly what is happening; and yet no one can enlighten him. He decides to act. He calls two journalists and assigns them the task of investigating the matter by speaking directly with ordinary people. The investigation starts with the notorious Gypsy Tamtakos, who struggles every day for a living. Then they move on to a simple employee, Markos, who dreams of a raise -which never comes. Then it's a farmer, Thymios, who comes to the capital to sell his oranges. In a largely burlesque manner, the film more or less reveals that the entire misfortune is due to Greeks' laziness and apathy, as well as to the prevailing attitude of "no big deal".
Sotiris owns a souvlaki restaurant but at his free time he loves to work as a P.I. in the neighborhood.
