A day in the life of a theater ensemble. The acting students are struggling to get one foot ahead of the others and the regular cast is fighting for the good parts.

A seven-year-old boy is sent to a farm on a remote island, when his mother goes abroad. On the island the boy gets to know a twenty-year-old woman who seems willing to take on a mother's role. But the boy is reaching an age of sexual awareness and instead of regarding her as a mother figure; he falls obsessively in love with her.

He succeeds without difficulty to manipulate his environment and his psychopathic traits becomes even clearer as the hearing progress.

During the fishing season it blows up, but as the radio is not working, the crew does not know anything about the danger.
