This film is a memoir about a missing mother. The uncertainty with which the author has lived for their whole life is interrupted by sudden news.

The film takes place 200 years ago, when flowers were bigger than houses, and witches turned daughters-in-law into poplars. The Cossack went to war, not knowing that when he returns, everything will be completely different.

The story is about a man and a woman, who are married for a long time, try to regain theirs love and hope on the seashore under the steamer`s beeps.

This is a teamwork by students of the School-Studio “SHAR”, made as part of the learning process. Students were asked to draw an animation based on a sequential series of numbers.
