Juno, a twenty-year-old girl becomes obsessed with Pan. Her obsession turns her into an animal.

On a road trip across Italy, recent high school graduates Ira, Malin and Ka pick up the intriguing backpacker Zoe. As the four girls stumble across an abandoned village, they start to experiment with the limits of their newly found freedom, away from the expectations of their parents and teachers.

Young single-mom Mia struggles with the criticism and prejudice against her in the village. When she realises that her son is also suffering, she becomes a lioness.

The fourteen-year-old Leah lives with her little brother Theo with her grandmother secluded in the countryside. When the old woman dies unexpectedly, the children are suddenly completely on their own. Leah is overwhelmed with the new responsibility. Instead of getting help, the grandmother is lying in the stairwell. Theo adorns her with childlike zeal. The house itself becomes a garden of paradise in the middle of which, however, a corpse decomposes slowly. A gathering thunderstorm and a group of overstretched campers suddenly become a threat to the morbid paradise of the children.

In the summer of 2018, novelist Tanja Arnheim and web designer Jerome Daimler have a seemingly ideal long-distance relationship in the heat of Berlin, the idyll of an inherited bungalow in the Hessian Main Valley and many train journeys in between.
