When an eccentric inventor inherits a rundown house, he decides to turn it into a bizarre tourist attraction by transforming it into an upside-down house. The locals are baffled and amused by his unconventional creation, but soon the house begins to attract attention from unexpected sources.

People from all over the area and even from all over the country come to Maximilian, who lives in a quiet rural area, for advice. Maximilian is known as a prophet and sorcerer.
