An exploration of the relationship between bodies, spaces and touch as a form of longing, Maja Classen’s latest documentary TRUTH OR DARE takes on an essayistic format inspired by the dramaturgy of a sex-positive party in Berlin and the COVID lockdowns of the past two years when the freedom of these spaces seemed possibly lost forever. The film’s protagonists – which include the Chilean queer sex worker Jorge and the genderqueer person Puck – are afforded the space to share their stories of loneliness, desires, sexuality, and identity and reveal how they have found a home and chosen family in Berlin’s queer, sex-positive community.

After suffering a wrongful death in 1914, former US - slave, Marie Scott - now a vampire - got a second chance at living to gain vengeance and live forever. This type of life comes with a price and like everyone else, Marie Scott must pay. Enactone is a glimpse into queer, erotic rituals for a yearly vampire holiday. The question is, can Marie Scott resist the most prime orgasmic blood in her quest toward becoming the next lair mistress?

Set in the near future, a collective of queer-feminist superhero*ines make use of their different identities, backgrounds and experiences to fight back against sexual and gender-based violence – a fusion of science, technology, magic, and ritual. Clashes and conflicts arise as they negotiate and try to come to a consensus on their aim of disrupting toxic hierarchies. The project is currently in post-production.
