The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok is an American Western television series which ran for eight seasons from 1951 through 1958. The Screen Gems series began in syndication, but ran on CBS from 1955 through 1958, and, at the same time, on ABC from 1957 through 1958.

In a world where animals act as humans, Robin Hood (a fox) and Little John (a bear) steal from the rich to give to the poor. They trick Prince John and Sir Hiss into stealing from them before making it to Nottingham, where they encounter the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin Hood reveals himself to a family in need and gives them hope. He attends an archery tournament to win a kiss from Maid Marian (a fox), but is captured by Prince John. With the help of Little John, Maid Marian, and Lady Cluck, they escape. They lead a rebellion against Prince John and rescue the townsfolk from his oppressive taxes. Eventually, King Richard returns and Robin Hood marries Maid Marian.
