Mafia Only Kills in Summer is a comedy-drama TV show set in 1979 Sicily. It follows the story of a teenage girl navigating through the challenges of growing up in a society dominated by the mafia. She experiences the complexities of family relationships, friendship, love, and temptation while also witnessing the corrupt and dark side of the mafia and government.

Set in the multi-ethnic communities on the outskirts of Milan, three teenagers grow up and deal with love, generational conflicts, female emancipation and, above all, power struggles.
