In the small village of France, a pharmacist and his dysfunctional married couple find themselves caught up in a murder investigation after the husband is poisoned with rat poison. As the investigation unfolds, dark secrets, blackmail, and a twisted sense of humor come to light, revealing the cynicism and black humor that permeate the community.
