Wasabi (2001)

Wasabi tells the story of Hubert Fiorentini, a tough cop with a reputation for being brutal. When he receives news of his estranged wife's death in Paris, he is forced to travel there to settle her estate. However, Hubert soon uncovers a dangerous conspiracy involving the Yakuza and an inheritance worth millions of dollars. With the help of his daughter's teenage friend, Yumi, Hubert navigates the streets of Paris to confront the criminals and protect his family.
