Virginio and Sisa, an elderly Quechua couple, have been living their routine life in the Bolivian highlands for years. However, when they encounter an unusually prolonged drought, they are confronted with a decision: either fight against the harsh environment and the unstoppable passage of time or succumb to their circumstances.
