Uninvited (1988)

Uninvited is a horror movie from 1988 about a group of people on a yacht who are terrorized by a genetically engineered mutant cat. The cat was created as part of a scientific experiment and accidentally gets on board. As the passengers try to survive, they discover that the cat is capable of infecting them with a deadly toxin. With no escape and the cat picking them off one by one, they must find a way to stop it before it's too late.
