The Watch (2012)

In the town of Glenview, Ohio, Evan Trautwig is an active participant in the community and senior manager of the local Costco store. His life is disrupted when the store's night security guard is murdered. Determined to find the killer and bring him to justice, Evan decides to form a neighborhood watch. However, he only manages to recruit Bob, a construction worker and loving father; Franklin, a high school dropout who dreams of being a police officer but failed the written, physical, and mental-health tests; and Jamarcus, a recent divorcee. While on patrol, they accidentally hit a strange metallic orb of alien origin. Mysteriously, several townspeople are killed, and the watch encounters an alien. They discover that the aliens are disguising themselves as humans and have invaded the town. With their families at risk, the watch sets out to save their loved ones and destroy the alien threat.
