The Ultimate Playlist of Noise (2021)

In 'The Ultimate Playlist of Noise,' a high school student named Marcus lives with hearing loss and is about to undergo brain surgery that will eliminate his hearing completely. Before the surgery, Marcus embarks on a road trip to record his favorite sounds with a tape recorder and microphone. Along the way, he meets a girl named Wendy and together they experience various adventures, including breaking into an indoor pool and stealing from Marcus' parents. Throughout the journey, Marcus also comes to terms with the loss of his brother and battles with his mental health, including bipolar disorder and depression. Ultimately, the film explores themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the pursuit of happiness.
