The Public Eye (1992)

Set in 1940s New York City, 'The Public Eye' follows a lonely news photographer who becomes involved with the mob and gets caught up in their criminal activities. As he documents their actions, he must navigate his way through a dangerous world of violence and deceit. Along the way, he forms a romantic connection with a middle-aged woman and becomes embroiled in a web of blackmail, murder, and corruption.
