The Prayer follows a young drug addict who voluntarily commits himself to a rural rehabilitation center in the French Alps. Through hard labor, community living, and strict rules, he embarks on a journey of self-criticism and nonviolence. Along the way, he forms unlikely friendships, finds love, and learns the power of prayer.
