The Name of the Rose (1986)

After a young monk is found dead in an isolated abbey, friar William of Baskerville and his novice assistant, Adso of Melk, are asked to investigate. As they delve deeper into the case, more deaths occur, leading them to uncover a hidden library and a deadly secret book. With the arrival of investigator Bernardo Gui, William and Adso must race against time to solve the mystery and prevent further tragedy.
