The Master (2012)

Alcoholic Freddie Quell struggles with his post-war life until he becomes fascinated by a philosophical movement led by Lancaster Dodd. As Freddie becomes more involved with The Cause, his violent and erratic behavior continues to plague him. Despite their differences, Freddie and Dodd form a bond, but tensions arise within The Cause and Freddie eventually leaves. He embarks on his own journey, finding temporary happiness but ultimately feeling lost.
