The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)

James Bond is targeted by the world's most expensive assassin, while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder. An American gangster tries to kill Scaramanga but is attacked instead. Bond receives a golden bullet with '007' engraved on it and sets out to locate Scaramanga. He traces a bullet to a gun maker in Macau and follows the shipment to Hong Kong. Bond is arrested but transported to the wreck of RMS Queen Elizabeth where he meets with M and Q. Bond travels to Bangkok and poses as Scaramanga to infiltrate a martial arts academy. He escapes and reunites with his assistant. Scaramanga kills Fat and takes control of his empire and the solar cell device. Anders wants Bond to kill Scaramanga and gives him the Solex. Bond tracks Scaramanga to an island and after a duel, he outwits and kills him. Bond retrieves the Solex and escapes.
