The Lucky One (2012)

A Marine named Logan Thibault travels to Louisiana after serving three tours in Iraq. He believes that a woman he saw in a photograph saved his life during the war. Determined to find her, Logan embarks on a journey from Colorado to Louisiana with his dog Zeus by his side. When he finally meets the woman, Beth, there is immediate distrust. Beth runs a dog kennel and training business with her grandmother, Ellie. Logan's arrival also triggers jealousy and control from Beth's ex-husband, the town's Deputy Sheriff. As Logan tries to navigate these challenges, he forms a bond with Beth's son Ben and finds a sense of belonging.
