A reclusive romance novelist on a book tour with her cover model gets swept up in a kidnapping attempt that lands them both in a cutthroat jungle adventure. Loretta Sage, a romance novelist known for her adventurous stories, is struggling to write her latest book. While on a book tour with her cover model, Alan Caprison, Loretta is kidnapped by mysterious henchmen. She is taken to an eccentric billionaire, Abigail Fairfax, who wants her help in finding a mysterious treasure on a small island. Alan recruits his friend Jack Trainer to help rescue Loretta. Together, they embark on a dangerous journey through the jungle, facing henchmen and explosions. They eventually find the treasure, but it turns out to be a collection of seashells. As a volcano erupts, they narrowly escape and expose Abigail's true intentions. Loretta and Alan develop a romantic relationship and publish a book about their adventure. In the end, they find peace on an island with their friends.
