The Last Sin Eater (2007)

Set in the 1850s, 'The Last Sin Eater' follows a young girl named Cadi as she searches for answers and redemption in her Appalachian town. After the loss of her sister, Cadi discovers the existence of a mysterious figure called the sin eater. With the help of a stranger, she takes it upon herself to confront the dark secrets that haunt her community and find healing.
