An I.R.A. fighter is released from prison to assist in stopping a ruthless assassin known as 'The Jackal' from carrying out a high-profile assassination. As the FBI and MVD work together to track down The Jackal, they must confront the possibility of a mole in their midst. With the help of a former Basque separatist and IRA sniper, they race against time to stop The Jackal before he can complete his mission.
