After buying a new house, a young couple discovers that the previous owner is unwilling to let go. As they settle in, they start experiencing terrifying encounters that threaten their sanity and safety. The husband, a sound engineer, becomes suspicious of the strange noises he hears in the house, while the wife starts experiencing vocal cord dysfunction due to the psychological stress. They soon realize that there is more to the house and its previous owner than meets the eye.
