Kevin Lomax, a successful defense attorney in Florida, is offered a job at a high-end law firm in NYC. He quickly rises in the firm, but soon discovers that his boss is the Devil. As he is seduced by power and wealth, Kevin's wife is tormented by demonic forces. When she is raped by Milton, the Devil, Kevin starts to question his own choices. In the end, Kevin realizes the error of his ways and decides to use his second chance to do good.
