The Day of the Jackal (1973)

In this political thriller set in 1963, a professional assassin, known as the Jackal, is hired to kill the President of France. As he meticulously plans the hit, a police commissioner and an informant race against time to stop him. The Jackal's identity remains unknown, and he uses various disguises and tactics to evade capture. It becomes a battle of wits and a race against time to prevent the assassination.
