After being fired from her job as a director on Broadway, a single woman moves to a small town in upstate New York to start over. She becomes the director of a community theater and coffee shop owner. When a renowned theater director in New York City offers her a new job, she must decide between her new life and the opportunity of a lifetime. In the midst of it all, she finds love with a widower and forms a special bond with his daughter. The story culminates in a heartwarming Christmas pageant that brings the community together.
