A man named Trevor is admitted into an insane asylum after he is found in a catatonic state. He meets other patients and is subjected to a series of bizarre experiments by a mad doctor named Dr. Ek, who is trying to help Trevor regain his memory. As Trevor goes through the experiments, he starts to experience strange visions and becomes increasingly confused about what is real and what is not. As the plot unfolds, it is revealed that there is a dark secret hidden in the attic of the asylum, and Trevor must confront his past to escape the horrors of his present.
