In 1939, young people in Hamburg, Germany find solace and defiance in Swing dancing amidst the rise of the Nazi regime. A young man, Peter Muller, joins a group of Swing Kids who rebel against the strict rules and regulations imposed by the Nazis. Through their love for music and dance, they find a way to express their freedom and resist the oppressive regime. However, their actions come at a cost as they face persecution, arrests, and the threat of being sent to concentration camps. Peter must navigate his loyalty to his friends and his love for Swing dancing as he tries to survive in a world filled with fear and intolerance.
