Starship Troopers (1997)

In a futuristic militaristic society, humans engage in a brutal war against giant alien bugs. Johnny, his girlfriend Carmen, and friend Carl enlist in the military, facing intense training and battles. After Earth is attacked by the bugs, Johnny rejoins the Infantry and becomes a leader. With the help of his squad, Johnny fights in an ill-fated invasion of the bug homeworld. Eventually, he joins the Roughnecks and leads a mission to destroy a brain bug. With their victory, Johnny, Carmen, and Carl become heroes and continue the war against the bugs.
