Split follows a man named Kevin Wendell Crumb who has dissociative identity disorder and kidnaps three teenage girls. As his darker personalities begin to emerge, the girls must find a way to escape before his most dangerous personality, known as "The Beast," is unleashed. The movie highlights the psychological torment and suspense as the girls try to survive and understand Kevin's fractured mind.
