Sphere (1998)

A team of scientists explores a spaceship discovered at the bottom of the ocean covered in coral growth. They uncover that it is an American spaceship from the future and encounter an alien presence trapped in a mysterious sphere aboard the ship. As they investigate further, they realize that the sphere has the power to manifest their thoughts into reality, leading to a series of tragic events. In the end, they use their newfound powers to erase their memories and prevent the knowledge of the sphere from falling into the wrong hands.
