After landing the gig of a lifetime, a New York jazz pianist suddenly finds himself trapped in a strange land between Earth and the afterlife. In order to return home, he teams up with a cynical soul and embarks on a journey to find their purpose and spark. Along the way, they encounter lost souls, discover the true meaning of life, and learn to appreciate the little things.
