Two years after Thaddeus Sivana's defeat, Hespera and Kalypso, two of the daughters of the Titan Atlas, break into the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece to steal the Wizard's broken staff. They take it to the Wizard, imprisoned in the Gods' Realm, and force him to repair the staff and reactivate its powers. In Philadelphia, Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who all have their own superpowers, are growing apart. When the Wizard warns Billy about the daughters, the Shazamily begins researching them. The foster siblings find out that the daughters guard the tree of life, which grows Golden apples. They also find out that the Titan Atlas forged the staff with magical powers. Shazam broke the staff, thus freeing the daughters of Atlas. The daughters kidnap Freddy and place an indestructible dome around the city, trapping everyone inside. Billy and the Shazamily attempt to save Freddy, but face the wrath of Hespera and Kalypso. With the help of a sympathetic Anthea, Freddy and the Wizard attempt to escape the Gods' Realm. In a climactic battle, Billy fights Kalypso and Ladon before overloading the staff and sacrificing his own life. With the help of Diana Prince, the last living being with godly powers, Billy is revived and uses the staff to restore his siblings' powers. The Shazamily rebuild their home while Anthea and the Wizard reside on Earth. In a mid-credits scene, Billy is recruited by the Justice Society.
