Secret Sunshine (2007)

After the tragic loss of her son and husband, a woman named Shin-ae moves to the small town of Miryang. She becomes involved in the local church and forms a relationship with a car mechanic named Jong-Chan. However, Shin-ae's grief and the religious hypocrisy she encounters push her into a downward spiral, leading her to make a shocking decision. The film explores themes of faith, forgiveness, and the complex emotions experienced in the aftermath of loss.
