95 %Rama, a literature professor and novelist, travels to Saint-Omer to observe the trial of Laurence Coly, a Senegalese immigrant accused of leaving her daughter on a beach. Rama, who is pregnant and in a mixed-race relationship, connects with Coly and plans to write a modern-day retelling of the Medea myth. As she learns more about Coly's life, Rama becomes increasingly anxious about her own life and pregnancy.
