After her father's death, a teenage girl moves with her mother to a secluded cabin in the woods. In order to cope with her grief and frustration, she performs an occult ritual to summon an evil spirit named Pyewacket. However, she soon realizes the terrifying consequences of her actions as Pyewacket begins to haunt and torment her.
