92 %A Chicago advertising man must struggle to travel home from New York for Thanksgiving, with a lovable oaf of a shower-curtain-ring salesman as his only companion. Neal Page is in New York trying to finalize a marketing image for cosmetics. He heads to the airport to catch a flight to Chicago but faces various obstacles. He meets Del Griffith, a seller of shower curtain rings, and their paths cross multiple times. They end up stranded in Wichita, Kansas due to heavy snow in Chicago. Neal grows annoyed with Del but eventually realizes he is a nice guy. They face more challenges on their journey, including stolen money and transportation issues, but ultimately make it to Chicago where Neal brings Del home for Thanksgiving Dinner, and Del is grateful to have somewhere to go.
