Pinocchio (1940)

A woodcarver named Geppetto creates a puppet named Pinocchio. The puppet is brought to life by the Blue Fairy with the condition that he must prove his worthiness to become a real boy. Pinocchio is guided by Jiminy Cricket, his conscience. Along his journey, Pinocchio is tempted by dishonest characters and must learn the importance of honesty and selflessness. Eventually, Pinocchio saves his father from a whale and is transformed into a real boy. Meanwhile, Jiminy Cricket also proves himself as a good conscience.
