Pillars of the Sky (1956)

In Pillars of the Sky, set in 1858 Oregon, Sergeant Emmett Bell enlists the help of Captain Tom Gaxton to maintain peace between the US Cavalry and the Apache Nation. As tensions rise, Bell faces challenges such as ambushes, battles, and the conflict between his duty and his personal desires. In the end, he must make difficult choices that test his loyalty and honor.
