Persona (1966)

A nurse is tasked with caring for a mute actress and realizes that their personalities are blending. As they spend time together in a seaside cottage, the nurse begins to grow attached to the actress and constantly compares herself to her. However, she discovers that the actress has been analyzing and studying her through letters. This revelation leads to a confrontation where their relationship becomes volatile and violent. Eventually, the nurse leaves the cottage, leaving the actress catatonic. The film concludes with a shot of the crew and director filming the scene.
