Jack Willis, a famous romance novelist, is struggling to come up with ideas for his next novel. He meets Ruby Vale, a woman who works as a truck driver and dreams of becoming a pilot. Jack decides to use Ruby as the inspiration for his new novel, but as they spend more time together, they start falling in love. However, Jack is keeping his real identity a secret, and Ruby is engaged to someone else. They must navigate the complexities of love and deception to find their happily ever after.
