Marcus Luttrell and his team are sent on a mission to capture or kill Taliban leader Ahmad Shah. They are ambushed and heavily outnumbered, resulting in a fight for survival. Despite their injuries, they try to flee and call for help, but face more challenges along the way. With the help of Pashtun villagers, Luttrell is eventually rescued.
