Little Voice (1998)

Little Voice is a heartwarming movie about a shy and introverted woman named Little Voice who lives with her overbearing and alcoholic mother in Yorkshire, England. She finds solace in her room where she listens to and mimics famous singers, but she is too afraid to share her talent with the world. One day, a talent agent named Ray discovers her and convinces her to perform at a local nightclub. Little Voice's incredible singing talent becomes a sensation, but she must overcome her fears and face the challenges that come with being in the spotlight.
