In Leap Year, a young woman named Anna decides to follow her boyfriend to Dublin and propose to him on Leap Day, as per an Irish tradition. However, her plans go awry when she finds herself stranded in a small Irish town and must rely on a handsome innkeeper to help her reach her destination. Along the way, Anna discovers more about herself and her desires, ultimately realizing that sometimes the journey is more important than the destination.
