Kantara (2022)

When greed paves the way for betrayal, scheming and murder, a young tribal reluctantly dons the traditions of his ancestors to seek justice. In 1847, a king discovers a stone in a forest protected by a deity. He donates land to the villagers in exchange for the stone, but his successors ignore the warning not to reclaim the land. Years later, a forest officer is tasked with converting the villagers' land into a reserve, and a Kambala athlete from the village challenges him. As tension rises, the truth about disappearances and the dark secrets of the land are revealed.
