Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014)

Jack Ryan, a young covert C.I.A. analyst, uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack. After the 9/11 attacks, Ryan joins the U.S. Marine Corps and is critically injured in Afghanistan. During rehab, he attracts the attention of the CIA and is sent to finish his PhD. Ten years later, working on Wall Street, Ryan notices suspect financial transactions by Russian organizations and discovers their plan for revenge against the United States. With the help of his wife and CIA backup, Ryan infiltrates Moscow to stop the plan and save the global economy.
