Jay, after a sexual encounter with Hugh, inherits a curse where an entity will follow her until it catches and kills her. She enlists the help of her friends to try to escape the entity and pass the curse on to someone else, but they soon realize that defeating it is not as simple as it seems. As the group faces numerous encounters with the entity, they come up with a plan to kill it once and for all. However, even after seemingly defeating the entity, Jay and her friend Paul continue to live in fear as they are followed by an unknown person.
