I’m Going Home is a comedy-drama film released in 2001. It tells the story of an aging actor named Gilbert Valence, who lives a solitary life after the death of his wife and son in a car accident. Gilbert spends his days learning lines and going to the theater, finding solace in his work. However, his routine is disrupted when his daughter and grandson die in a separate car accident, leaving him responsible for his 9-year-old grandson.
