Hercules (1997)

The son of Zeus and Hera is stripped of his immortality as an infant and must become a true hero in order to reclaim it. Based on the legend of Hercules and Heracles, Hercules is raised on Earth by a childless couple. As he grows up, he discovers his divine origins and his mission to become a true hero. With the help of his winged horse Pegasus and his mentor Philoctetes, Hercules embarks on a journey to Thebes to prove himself. Along the way, he faces various challenges and battles mythical creatures, all while dealing with his feelings for the complicated Meg. Eventually, he defeats the Hydra and gains the recognition of the citizens and the gods. However, when Hades reveals Meg's betrayal, Hercules must make a deal to save her soul. In the end, Hercules becomes a true hero and chooses to stay on Earth while still being able to visit his family in Mount Olympus.
